World Environment Day was established on 5 June 1972 to remind the world of the state of the Earth and the harm that human activities are doing to the 

environment.

The United Nations system and Governments are requested to carry out various activities on this day to highlight the importance of protecting and improving 

the human environment.

Guide the whole society to firmly establish and practice the idea that clear waters and lush mountains are gold and silver mountains, and mobilize all sectors 

of society to actively participate in the great practice of building a beautiful China and realizing harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
